Client Centred Pilot Project
Program Description
This pilot project builds on the Resettlement Assistance Program (RAP) services delivered in the first six weeks of arrival in Canada to government-assisted refugees.
The project incorporates key elements of case management, including a holistic and individualized needs assessment of each adult and youth family member, as well as the development of a collaborative and pro-active one-year settlement plan.

Program Outcomes
Participation in this program will assist Government Assisted Refugees:
- develop awareness of the needed skills to live in Canada.
- to identify personal needs (e.g. health, education).
- learn to set reasonable goals to achieve their settlement plan.
- Become aware of the relevant community services and programs to fulfill their settlement needs.
