Foster Home Program
This program provides respite and extended care to children who have developmental disabilities and child welfare status in the homes of approved and trained foster families.
Am I eligible?
This program is intended for a child who has a permanent or temporary guardianship order with the Child and Family Services Authority (CFSA) and where the child has some form of a disability.
Where is this service provided?
There are approved homes in the Wetaskiwin and Camrose communities.
How much will it cost me?
This program is funded by the Child and Family Services Authority for a child with a Permanent Guardianship Order. The guardians may be responsible for a minimal fee if the child is under a Temporary Guardianship Order
