Residential Program for Persons with Developmental Disabilities
This program provides residential support services for adults with developmental and/or multiple disabilities. These residential programs provide community living supports, behaviour intervention, community integration, and basic life skill training to individuals sharing accommodation in a group living arrangement.
Am I eligible?
This program is available to adults at least 18 years old with a developmental disability and who are receiving support from Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH). Clients must also reside in the area covered by the Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) Central Alberta Community Board.
Where is this service provided?
There are 13 residential homes in the Wetaskiwin and Camrose communities.
How much will it cost me?
Clients are responsible for room and board, as well as transportation, utilities, and other household expenses. The resident is also responsible for personal expenses, and essential living items, such as furniture.
