Home Support Program for Adults with Developmental and/or Multiple Disabilities
This program recruits caring people/families (called providers) to give adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to live in private homes, which promote independence, quality of life, and assistance in developing daily living skills. The individual pays room and board to the provider and is a member of the household with equal rights and responsibilities.
The type of supports offered are based on the client's capabilities and desires and are offered in areas such as life skills, service coordination, emotional and social support, financial and medical support, and monitoring and supervision.
Am I eligible?
Adults who are diagnosed with a developmental disability before they turned 18 years old are eligible to receive home support services.

Edmonton.
How much will it cost me?
For individuals who qualify for funding through the Edmonton Community Board for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD), there is no additional fee.
