Alpha House
This program provides accommodation and support services to men and women with substance abuse issues.
Am I eligible?
Alpha House is suitable for clients who are self-sufficient and in recovery from substance abuse. Most clients have already completed treatment or a length of stay in another half-way house.
Where is this service provided?
Alpha House for Men and Alpha House for Women are both located in North Central Edmonton.
How much will it cost me?
Rent at Alpha House costs $350.00 per month. Residents must provide their own food and do their own cooking.
In addition to rent, Alpha House receives funding from the
Sign of Hope campaign, an annual fundraising campaign for programs offered by Catholic Social Services.
How do I access this program?
- Call (780) 473-5957 to obtain an application form. Referrals can be either self-made, or from a treatment program.
- Arrange an intake interview with the Program Worker, followed by an interview with resident’s committee for admission.
