Approved Home Program for Adults with Developmental Disabilities
Provides support services to adults with developmental disabilities or multiple disabilities in private homes under the supervision of a Home Support Provider.
Am I eligible?
Eligible individuals are 18 or older, with a developmental disability, mental illness or diagnosed disability and require minimal assistance living in a family supported environment.
How much will it cost me?
Funding for staff and proprietors is provided by the Persons with Developmental Disabilities Board, Alberta Mental Health or David Thompson Health Region depending on the disability.
Individuals are responsible to pay for room and board.
How do I access this program?
Once deemed eligible for funding:
- Contact CSS Intake Worker and set-up appointment
- Intake Worker determines need
- Intake Worker confirms funding source
