This is a full-time position for 35 hours per week. This position is for internal applicants only and external candidates will not be considered.
 
As a Program Manager with Immigration and Settlement Service, you have a solid understanding and experience with program development and implementation, and knowledge of evaluation and outcome measurement. Your excellent spoken and written communication and computer application skills (including databases) will assist you in proposal, report and budget preparation, administrative, human resources and financial management. You will also be involved in the management of multiple programs and services for immigrants and refugees.
 
You have a Master's degree in Education, Linguistics, Social Work, Social Sciences ( or equivalent), along with 3 years supervisory and program development experience. Your knowledge and expertise in the areas of language assessment, referral and education counseling services, and educational programs for immigrants make you an ideal candidate for this position. Your two years experience teaching ESL/EAL, and your extensive knowledge of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB), CLB tools, and of English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as an Alternative Language (EAL) teaching and learning processes will be critical to your success. The ability to perform both statistical and policy analysis work within a culturally diverse environment are essential in this position, and your ability to speak French or a second language are assets. A vehicle and valid driver's license are required for this position
