This is a part-time overnight sleep position for 16 hours per week.

As a Community Disability Worker you provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping to promote independence and self-determination. Open to new learning, you are keen to becoming skilled in the area of community building and helping people with complex needs to be equal and participating members of the community.

 

Your grade 12 education (or equivalent) is preferably supported by some experience working with individuals with multiple or complex needs. You must be able to coordinate competing priorities, be able to positively influence others and solve problems creatively. Flexible and open-minded, you are an enthusiastic part of your work team and connected to community partners. As our programs operate on a 24 hour basis, shift work is required and may include weekends, depending on the needs of the program. A vehicle and valid driver’s license are assets, but not required for these rewarding opportunities.
